On the 3rd of February an update was made with some new features, some changes and a few of bug fixes.
What's new is:
- A new template has been introduced in Author. It is called H5P and as the name suggests, it has support for playing H5P material. There is work left on that template. For example, control of reporting when the page is completed and control of content size. The template is therefore in Beta status, it is of course fine to test for those who want to. Sample materials can be found at https://h5p.org/content-types-and-applications. Once you have found a content type you want to use, click Reuse below the example to download it.
- For those who import external SCORM packages to the library, it is now possible to update the SCORM package. Select the imported module in the library, in the right column you will see the option Update SCORM package. Click on it and select the file with the updated SORM package.
- The size limit for importing SCORM packages has been changed from 300 MB to 600 MB.
What's been changed/corrected is:
- Logo adjustment in the Majestic theme. In some cases, the logo could end up too close to the bottom edge.
- Notification when commenting on chat messages. A reply to a chat message incorrectly gave a notification, which also contains old terms. That notification has now been removed.
- In the feedback boxes next to the content, a close button has been shown. Some users have been disturbed by it and therefore we have removed the close button.
- Link to editing modules in a plan. In Planner's edit mode, an edit link is now displayed under each added module. You only need to click on the link to open the module in Author.
