Update March 29th

mceclip0.png

On March 29th, an update was made with a new template and some changes.

The new template is:

Button/Navigation description
The template shows buttons used in the player as well as navigation buttons used in the module with an explanatory text. Perfect to show at the beginning of a module so users understand what buttons do and how they can be used.

Authors can choose to display only Navigation controls, Media controls, or both on the page.

The template also checks which other buttons exist in a module and displays them if they exist.
This means that if Text mode and/or Audiobook mode are activated, buttons for that are displayed.
If the module has support sound, buttons for it are displayed and if the module is run from a planner, the "Home" button is displayed.

What has changed is:

Fix for social data administration.
An overhaul has been made to the functionality to administer social data and a number of bugs have been fixed.

Usability of the page to administer social data.
An overhaul has been made to the page to improve user-friendliness. Among other things, retrieved social data is now displayed directly, explanatory texts and informational texts.

Option to report a module as failed via Scorm in the knowledge test template.
A customer needed the feature to have a knowledge test that locks after three attempts and should report the module as failed when it occurs. A setting in the template has therefore been introduced.
It is "Mark the entire module as failed if a successful test result is not achieved within the maximum number of attempts". If it is enabled and "Max number of attempts" is not 0, the module will be set as failed when the test is locked.
This is a special solution that the vast majority of you will never use. See this as information about what the choice means.

"Explore in Text" template
A "Read more" button has been introduced which explains the connection between text and word to be explored. This is to make it easier for users as it can be difficult to understand how the connection should be made.
